Nicole Rauch is a freelance software developer and software development coach with an extensive background in compiler construction and formal verification methods. Besides Specification by Example, Domain-Driven Design, React.js/Redux, Node.js, and the remediation of Java legacy code applications, functional programming languages, first and foremost Haskell, are slowly but surely gaining a permanent place in her repertoire. Furthermore, she participated in the organization of several self-organized conferences and in the initiation of Softwerkskammer, a German-speaking user community on software craftsmanship, as well as its Karlsruhe regional group. Together with Michael Sperber, she developed the iSAQB curriculum “Functional Software Architecture”.
Dr. Michael Sperber: Dr. Michael Sperber is the managing director of Active Group GmbH in Tübingen, which develops individual software exclusively with functional programming. He is an internationally recognized expert in functional programming and has been applying it in research, teaching, and industrial development for over 20 years. He has also authored numerous technical articles and books on the subject. Michael Sperber is co-founder of the blog funktionale-programmierung.de and co-organizer of the developer conference BOB. Together with Nicole Rauch, he developed the iSAQB curriculum “Functional Software Architecture”.
