Axel Schäfer works as a trainer and consultant for software architects, in agile projects and as a leadership developer. With a degree in psychology and business administration, he quickly found joy and interest in agile project management, lean management, and the accompaniment of special IT projects. As a permanent employee, he gained experience in large projects and mergers in the banking and insurance industry. Later he led the organizational development of an automotive supplier. For the last 10 years Axel has been working as a freelance consultant. He is fascinated by the challenge of seemingly controllable technology and uncontrollable people.

Dr. Gernot Starke, INNOQ Fellow, has been a traveler in different countries of the IT world for many years, mainly in architecture. He holds the swimming badge in the Servician Ocean. Gernot is also the author of several technical books and an independent consultant and coach.

Phillip Ghadir has more than 15 years of experience in IT from a wide range of industries. His main interest is the design of software systems – especially architectures for mission-critical distributed systems. He is the CTO and a member of INNOQ’s executive team, and as such is responsible for INNOQ’s cross-project organization. Phillip is a personal founding member of iSAQB e.V. and actively contributes to the design of the curriculum for the CPSA-F (Certified Professional for Software Architecture, Foundation Level) as well as the CPSA-A (Certified Professional for Software Architecture, Advanced Level). He also speaks regularly at conferences such as JAX and is the author of numerous magazine articles.
